Jennie is a hairstylist with over 9 years of professional experience. She is known for her detailed cutting and coloring techniques. As a Goldwell color specialist she has extensive training in highlighting and dimensional color techniques. She brings a personal and creative approach to every client to achieve the look that best fits them. Jennie is truly passionate about her career and stays on top of trends by attending and traveling to workshops and hair shows around the world. Her goal is to share what she has learned and expand each persons skills in taking care of their own hair. In addition to haircutting and coloring Jennie styles for wedding and events on location. She is always patient and brings a fun and friendly energy to her hairstyling.

BeautyHive Studios is Jennie’s creative endeavor to combine her culmination of skills with hair, make-up and photography. A creative space for her mind to run wild. Located on the second floor of a historic navy barracks in San Diego the studio boasts natural light through a large expanse of windows and is surrounded by acres of gardens and paths. This backdrop makes the perfect setting for fashion, beauty, product and creative shoots.
Offering fashion and commercial photography. Including business head shots, modeling head shots, corporate head shots, product and clothing photography.

Please give 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling weekday appointments. Last minute cancellations where your appointment time can not be filled are subject to a $25 charge for the missed appointment.Due to the demand for Saturdays, cancellations must be given within 2 days notice or the same $25 fee will apply. Rescheduling must be done over the phone for future weekend appointments.

DREAM Wedding Event
There was a great event held last night that I stumbled upon last minute. Alchemy Fine Events put together a Wedding Vendor showcase. I met some talented wedding business vendors and want to share with you who and what I saw!
It was held at an amazing space in Downtown San Diego called Luce Loft. It’s a raw and open space with a 2nd floor balcony overlooking the main area. I could see a swanky wedding or party held here. For rental information email info@luceloft.com
Pow Wow Vintage had a beautiful set up of classic and vintage light fixtures and furniture. I love the wedding trend of incorporating a cozy seating area for guests. I also met the creative minds behind Luna Photo. Mike and Paula were both so sweet and super talented. I was looking forward to meeting them and checking out more of their portfolio in person.
They take stunning images and document weddings all over California and amazing destinations like Costa Rica and Bali!
I love meeting uber talented photographers I can recommend to my clients, it is in my opinion the most important piece of your wedding day!
